Hi, I’m Laura - Chair of the FWSA.
I joined the FWSA as I have always enjoyed community and fundraising projects in previous walks of life. I have a daughter in reception and son starting in little acorns very soon. I work as an assessor/examiner for students completing their childcare qualifications and am looking forward to supporting the school.
We are a relatively new committee, and I am looking forward to planning events and raising funds for school to enhance the learning for our children. I am always open to new ideas and suggestions, and you can catch me on school runs throughout the week.
Hi, I'm Anne - Treasurer of the FWSA.
I have recently joined, and I'm excited to be part of a super group of mums who form the committee team. It's great to be able to give something back to the school and be a part of organising the exciting experiences for the children and fundraising to enrich their learning and environment.
I have 3 amazing children. 2 sons in KS1 and Little Acorns and my daughter already has her name down to join Little Acorns when she is old enough.
I work as a Financial Analyst part-time and I hope that my experience can bring lots of new ideas to the group - after all any PTA works at its best with lots of different people and their strengths.
Hi, I'm Selina - Secretary of the FWSA
I've recently joined the committee and am delighted to be part of this wonderful team! I'm looking forward to helping with organising events that are enjoyed by the school and local community, as well as fundraising and making new friends.
I have a daughter who will be going into KS1 next year and a son who attends Little Acorns; I'm excited for what the next few years will hold at our lovely school!
Hi, I'm Rachel - Communication & Media for the FWSA
I became a volunteer last year when I helped at the Worm Charming Event and have recently joined as a committee member. I feel very privileged to be part of such a fantastic team who do so much to support our children and our school.
I have a daughter in KS1 and love to ask her thoughts surrounding events and ideas that we have coming up. Combined, all of te FWSA volunteers bring a wealth of different experiences and knowledge whic makes the group so special. There is always a friendly response when asking questions or needing help with anything.
As well as the Committee team, we have a group of amazing volunteers who attend meetings, support us running events, provide brilliant ideas and bring along their many varied skills and talents to help in our aim of raising much needed funds for our fabulous school. Not to mention the extremely supportive school staff who always go the extra mile to help.
To get involved in any way you can please feel free to get in touch, either on the playground or via email fwsa.willaston.gmail.com
